Since 2017, the Montreal International Short Film and Series Festival, also known as Festival Courts d’un soir, has offered an almost entirely free program featuring short films, series, and music videos to showcase the talents of the short format. By democratizing this format through theatrical screenings of works rarely seen on the big screen, the festival supports the professional development of emerging talents through workshops and training activities. With a special focus on Quebecois and Canadian creations, the event also aims to bring together industry players by creating new spaces for exchange and collaboration.
