Aimed at promoting arts and culture throughout Quebec and making them accessible to all, this not-for-profit organization has many projects in the works. The organization is responsible for the Journées de la culture in which hundreds of organizations, artists and artisans are involved. These three days of free artistic and cultural activities for the general public are held each year, on the last Friday of September and the two following days. Directed by Michel Vallée since the departure of its founder, Louise Sicuro, in 2021, the organization continues its work to democratize culture on many fronts, from cultural mediation to the instigation of artistic projects touching on social justice and sustainable development.
