Club Soda

Le Roy, la Rose et le Lou[p] at Club Soda, Coup de cœur francophone, 2023

A Montreal cultural landmark for over forty years, Club Soda is a multi-purpose venue that has played host to some of the biggest names in Quebec showbiz. Its history began in 1982, on Avenue du Parc. Inaugurated by Quebec singer Boule Noire, this new cabaret hosted Lundis des Ha! Ha!, hosted by Ding et Dong, before establishing itself as an important stage in the entertainment industry. In 1999, the Avenue du Parc establishment closed, only to rise from the ashes a few months later on Saint-Laurent Boulevard. Custom-designed by Montreal architect Luc Laporte, Club Soda quickly became a key venue for the major festivals that contribute to Montreal’s cultural effervescence. Long managed by Marcel Sabourin, the establishment is now owned by Louis-Armand Bombardier's L-A be record label. Its legendary history is enriched with new chapters every year. In the heart of the Quartier des Spectacles, Club Soda continues to offer a quality infrastructure and to contribute to the promotion of culture while ensuring its long-term survival.
