“Les voyageurs” by Cédric Le Borgne

A girls’ weekend getaway

1st stop

With Les voyageurs by French artist Cédric Le Borgne, the façades of the Honeyrose Montreal, Hyatt Place Montreal Downtown, Montreal Marriott Château Champlain, Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth, and DoubleTree by Hilton Montreal hotels are transformed into luminous art spaces. This poetic journey of humanoid and animal sculptures invites visitors to rediscover the city.

2nd stop

As night falls, the Quartier’s video projection façades switch on, spreading light and beauty all around. Original works inspired by the colours of winter—Rêve retrouvé by Iana Brezeky and Codex by Teo Leroo—turn evening strolls into a visual feast, while Parallèles, by Studio Transversal, pulls you into the action by using your movements to generate a video projection on the façade near the Saint-Laurent metro station.

“I like to think of LUMINO as a winter tradition to be shared. It’s free, it’s beautiful, and it’s always new! It’s a place you come back to with family and friends to enjoy downtown in a whole new way. I’m happy to be the event spokesperson because LUMINO embodies everything I love about Montreal: its creativity, its boldness, and its ability to turn winter into a constant source of joy.”
