If you still haven’t made plans for Halloween 2026, we’ve got you! Whether you want to dance the night away, have a uniquely spooky experience or just soak up the vibes, there are plenty of options in the Quartier des Spectacles. Here are 11 ideas so good that you’ll have trouble picking just one!

Société des Arts Technologiques (SAT)

On October 30, Espace SAT presents Danny Daze, Carlos Souffront plus a back-to-back with James Benjamin and Flleur, blurring genre boundaries with their surprising selections. Artists Mor Elian, Ehua and Melek explore percussion under the dome, accompanied by 360° visuals by Al11z and Mostly Noise. The party continues on October 31 in Espace SAT with notable Detroit-scene figure DJ Stingray 313, as well as Clarisa Kimskii and technique nado. Meanwhile in the Satosphère, Suze Ijó, Ramzilla and Amselysen b2b Racine create a psychedelic electronic vibe, with visual effects by Aphex Redditor and Diagraf.

SPASM festival at Club Soda

The SPASM festival is celebrating its 25th anniversary at Club Soda this year. On October 31, don’t miss the Party d’Halloween Old School, with big hits from the 1970s onward – a different decade is featured each hour. Please note: costumes are mandatory!

Vino Disco

It’s a wine bar crossed with a disco! On the 31st, Vino Disco hosts an elegant Halloween party with a splash of nostalgia. The evening’s soundtrack features 90s eurodance and house spun by DJs Francoys, Hatchmatik, Manuel Falardeau and The Fitness. A party for people who prefer to dance the night away dressed to the nines rather than in a costume.

Esc

On the 31st, this gallery on Saint-Laurent Blvd. presents an electronic Halloween party with local and international artists. Under the banner of Strawberry Gothcake x Bimbo Castle Halloween, the party presents DJs and electronic music producers such as Cel Genesis, Asphodel Ivory, Beamskii and Baby Bimbo – they’ll keep you dancing until dawn!

Sanctuary

A new establishment on the Main, Sanctuary invites you to a musically inspiring Halloween party on the 31st: an intimate, casual Fam Jam, with minimalist electronic music and techno dub leading the way. Note that only 50 people will be admitted to this event featuring DJs Crescenzo, Racil, Clochette and Jino K.

Le Balcon

If you aren’t into costume parties but do like to get dressed up, Le Balcon’s evening of Motown-era soul, disco and pop might be just the ticket. On October 31, the Freddie James Project performs gems by Marvin Gaye, Etta James and Kool & the Gang, to name a few, in a sophisticated cabaret setting. The place to be if you’d like to hear some timeless tunes, enjoy a great meal and dance, dance, dance!

Collectif MTL

This vast space on Sainte-Catherine St. at the corner of Saint-Alexandre hosts a Halloween party with a novel theme: exploring the labyrinth of social media. On October 30, the Collectif MTL space, suitably decorated and equipped, hosts a popup bar, b2b ensembles, and local and international artists including New York singer-songwriter, DJ and producer Petal Supply.

7 doigts de la main

The headquarters of the Les 7 doigts de la main collective hosts a sort of homecoming: after a six-year hiatus, electronic music collective OCTOV returns to celebrate Halloween in style on October 31. For the occasion, Dax J provides the music for three hours. But the beat goes on until the wee hours with selections by DJs Badgalquirit, Esse Ran and Kris Tin.

Église au toit rouge

The red-roof church known as the Église au toit rouge presents a spooky electronic Halloween party on October 31. DJs Liz Wendelbo and L. Sangre of the New York-based SHAME! collective make their Montreal debut with support from DJ Dimitri of Nights of Worship. Martial Canterel – unveiling their new album –Void Republic and Aalan Harman are also scheduled to hit the stage during this exciting party. Costume required!

Foufounes électriques

If a Halloween party full of frenetic guitars and pounding drums is more your speed, head over to Foufs on October 31 for the PARTY D’HALLOWEEN DOPETHRONE 2026. Four bands are slated to fill your ears with metal and psych: Montrealers Marécages, Fangus and Gutser plus Hamilton, Ont. trio Pale Horse Ritual. It all adds up to a mega-decibel Halloween!
