After four years of rigorous work, the collection today comprises over 5,000 series of objects, most of which have been inventoried and documented. This exceptional heritage collection was recently donated to the MEM by the Lee brothers.

Join Jean-Philippe Riopel, professional guide, museologist, and founder of Objets de Mémoire, as he retraces the evolution of this collaborative project, from its inception to its recognition as cultural heritage. The talk will also feature key objects from the collection, offering a unique window into the social, commercial, and cultural history of Montréal’s Chinatown.
