Screening and discussion with Valentin Noujaïm

As part of the exhibition Out of Time, VOX invites you to a screening followed by a discussion with artist Valentin Noujaïm and curator Doriane Biot. The event will begin with a presentation of Noujaïm’s latest short film, Opera Omnia (2025).

Building on the themes explored in the exhibition, this conversation considers the city as a site of both the disappearance and resurgence of memory, where multiple temporalities and narrative modes overlap. In Noujaïm’s work, melodrama, mythology, and desire become ways of probing the structural forms of violence that run through these spaces in crisis. In a world falling apart, what images can speak to the destruction unfolding before us?
