Deaf Perspectives: We're Rolling!

Curated by Emilie Peltier, these works — conceived and told by filmmakers from the Deaf community, somewhere between documentary and fiction — are for the most part premiering in Montreal. By bringing together the Deaf and hearing communities and shining a light on a largely unseen cinema, the Cinémathèque québécoise and Phénomena are celebrating the vitality of a narrative field that has yet to be fully explored.
