Corps en fête presents a collection of four short productions celebrating the body in motion. The façade of the Président-Kennedy Pavilion provides a festive and slightly offbeat backdrop for the performers, offering an exceptional showcase for student talent in the heart of the Quartier des Spectacles.
The project is the initiative of Professor Caroline Laurin-Beaucage of the UQAM Dance Department, who, as part of a course on creation integrating new technologies, challenged her class to express choreography in urban space. The cohort was responsible for creating the choreographic content, embodying the proposals, and editing. They participated in all stages of the process, from conception to production, under the artistic direction of Professor Laurin-Beaucage.
