The MEM invites you to take part in a summer activity focused on skateboards. This creative workshop is inspired by a short documentary on the Big O, a favourite spot for skateboarders around the world, which you can see in the exhibition Détours – Urban Encounters. Led by FLEURA, this activity invites you to design and draw your own stickers, inspired by Montréal. A true form of artistic expression in skateboarding culture, stickers are used to decorate decks and helmets, reflecting the identity of their creators. Whether you’re a skater or just curious about skateboarding culture, this activity is a fun, creative way to think about the connections between arts, sport and public spaces, while giving free rein to your imagination. A chance to reimagine Montréal . . . one sticker at a time.
