Launched in 2007 by the Fabienne Colas Foundation, the Haïti en Folie Festival in Montreal is now the largest festival outside Haiti—featuring multidisciplinary activities—entirely dedicated to Haitian culture. It is the quintessential Haitian cultural event in Montreal—music, cuisine, the arts, theater, and handicrafts all brought together in a week-long celebration.
It is a major event, rich in color and Creole flavors, designed to showcase Haitian culture in all its diversity, splendor, and richness; it attracts over 100,000 in-person visitors and tourists, as well as more than 1,250,000 online festival-goers, each year.
The Haïti en Folie Festival offers the Haitian community a significant opportunity to celebrate and share music of Haitian origin and the various facets of its heritage with the world, in a spirit of openness!
