Voices of the Quartier des spectacles
Voices of the Quartier des Spectacles is a window on the people and places that make Montreal’s cultural heart beat. From festivals to performance venues, from restaurants to avant-garde art. Every week, you’re invited to discover the city’s liveliest square kilometre!
Summer is… just for laughs! It’s also Just For Laughs, the 35-year-old world-class bilingual comedy festival (aka Juste pour Rire), along with its cheeky offspring, Off-JFL, since last year held under the umbrella of Zoofest. The two events deliver non-stop laughs both indoors and out.
When the jazz is over, an African village appears in the heart of downtown Montreal. For the sixth year in a row, the music, colours and flavours of the Festival International Nuits d’Afrique will come together in this inviting open-air space, broadening our horizons…
For the month of July, Montrealers’ favourite urban oasis opens up to the world of circus, turning into a colourful outdoor stage where the circus arts will flourish! Shows, workshops and performances of all kinds will delight young and old audiences alike.
