For one afternoon, The Parterre, the new public square is located at Place des Arts, has turned into a big playground Montrealers were asked to imagine what activities they would carry on this new place Public situated in the heart of downtown. A field of huge balloons presented various proposals.

The Parterre is the second phase of the development of public domain of arts and entertainment district, after the opening of the Festival Plaza in September 2009.
