LES MÉLODINES | SAMUEL GAGNON

Having discovered the piano at the age of 7, Samuel Gagnon has studied for the past 8 years at the Conservatoire de musique de Québec under the guidance of Gérald Lévesque. Due to his outstanding musical gifts, he quickly stood out by winning important prizes: First Prize at the last edition of the Canadian Music Competition, as well as First Prizes (recital and piano concerto) at the Concours de musique de la Capitale last spring. He was semi-finalist in the 2013 edition of the OSM Standard Life Competition. A keen chamber musician, he is also a sought-after accompanist.
