IMAGINE WAKING UP TOMORROW AND ALL MUSIC HAS DISAPPEARED
Information on the activity
November 18, 2014 to February 28, 2015
Bill Drummond is an odd character. In the early 1990s, he was best known as a member of the house band The KLF, which he pulled the plug on at the height of its fame – and burned, on live TV, a million pounds sterling earned by their album. Since then, he has paraded his crusty-old-punk style around the world and throughout his native Britain, seeking to make entirely unique music under the name The 17. A series of original compositions created from recordings of ordinary voices: construction workers, schoolchildren, hairdressers, bar patrons... Drummond is attempting nothing less than to redefine our relationship with music, creating a stimulating, highly original interactive journey. Ready to sing?
