Art POP and the Goethe-Institut are pleased to present two films by Berlin-based artist Sylvia Schedelbauer, screened in the windows of the Goethe-Institut after sunset each day. Remote Intimacy (2007) is a found-footage montage combining archival documentary footage with a pseudo-personal narrative; blending various individual recollections with literary texts. way fare (2009) presents a layered tone poem of found images and woven soundscapes, rendering a shifting psychogram; a nomadic passage across spaces in and out of time.
