After two self-produced EPs and collaborations with Stromae and Woodkid, pianist/composer Aron Ottignon (ex-Aronas) breaks through into a new zone by joining Blue Note France. His new EP, "Nile", fuses airy melody with rhythmic power, loops of organic piano inherited from electronica, and the shimmer of steel drums. It’s a singular vision of modern jazz infused with Caribbean and electronic rhythms.
