Franz Ferdinand are a Glasgow-based indie rock band formed in 2002. They have released a string of popular singles including Take Me Out, Do You Want To, This Fire, The Dark of the Matinee, and more recently, Right Action and Love Illumination. Their 2005 album You Could Have It So Much Better topped the UK album chart and made the top ten in the Billboard 200. Across their last three studio albums, including Franz Ferdinand and Tonight, they sold over three million copies.
