STYLUS PHANTASTICUS
Information on the activity
Dates to come
Stylus Phantasticus is an invitation to a timeless and pictorial amble that will take the audience into the whimsical universe of composer Jean Lesage, starting off with the premiere of his violin concerto, Soliloques aux figures éphémères. An utter journey where new music travels back and forth in time, put in perspective by projections of modern, surrealist and cubist works of painters of the twentieth century.
A new work by Yannick Plamondon, in tribute to the former Radio-Canada producer Laurent Major, completes this program tinged by postmodern colours.
