Ever since Ce n’est pas la fin du monde, new territory has opened up for Sylvain Émard. The choreographer returns to the stage in a solo after a 15-year absence, time spent directing others to dance. He rediscovers himself as a dancer changed by the passing years, working with a body that has also become fascinating territory for experimentation. He takes up the challenge and will be presenting the new work at the Wilder, Montreal’s new dance space.
