It was right here at the Festival, in 2016, that Hiromi fell for the charms of Colombian harpist Edmar Castaneda, who was opening her concert: listening to his vast musicality, the Japanese pianist immediately envisaged a collaboration. After playing together at the Blue Note in New York, the two musicians swiftly developed an intense artistic connection, and a genuinely electrifying duo was born.
