Dany Laferrière Presents Un cœur nomade On The Pont des Arts And The Esplanade Of The Institut de France In Paris
The exhibition Un cœur nomade, produced by Quartier des Spectacles Partnership and distributed by Quartier des Spectacles international, is currently on display until May 12, 2024, in Paris, France. It invites passersby to explore the graphic and literary universe of author Dany Laferrière, a member of the Académie française, on the Pont des Arts and the esplanade of the Institut de France in Paris.

From his childhood in Petit-Goâve, Haiti, to his induction into the French Academy, passing through Montreal and Miami, Un cœur nomade offers a gentle and colorful immersion into the unique universe of this writer, who holds a special place in the hearts of Quebec and the French-speaking world.
The exhibition was inaugurated on April 13, 2024, in the presence of Dany Laferrière, Mr. Mathieu Lacombe, Minister of Culture and Communications of Quebec, Ms. Carine Rolland, Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of culture, Ms. Michèle Boisvert, General Delegate of Quebec in Paris, and Ms. Monique Simard, President of the Boards of Directors of the Quartier des Spectacles Partnership and Quartier des Spectacles International.

Un cœur nomade benefits from the financial support of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ), the Société de développement des entreprises culturelles (SODEC), Tourisme Montréal, the Ville de Montréal and the Minister of Culture and Communications of Québec in partnership with the Festival du Livre de Paris, the Association nationale des éditeurs de livres (ANEL) and the General Delegation of Quebec in Paris.

The Quartier des Spectacles Partnership, founded in 2003, is a non-profit organization with more than 85 members active in the district. It is responsible for animating the Quartier des Spectacles by programming cultural activities, managing and animating public spaces, providing distinctive illumination and promoting the Quartier as a must-visit cultural destination. The Partnership benefits from the support of the Ville de Montréal.
