Impossible de proposer un cycle consacré à la science-fiction sans y inclure Steven Spielberg et Georges Lucas, ces deux figures tutélaires de la science-fiction au cinéma. En parallèle à l'émergence de leurs films emblématiques sur ce terrain (E.T., Star Wars), il apparaît instructif pour la Cinémathèque québécoise de montrer tous les films qu'ils réalisent jusqu'à leur collaboration historique, « Les aventuriers de l'arche perdue », dont la référence cinéphile explicite est « Le tombeau hindou » de Fritz Lang. À voir cet automne!
