NOMINATIONS DE MARIPIERRE D’AMOUR ET MARC RANDOLL

Press release | For immediate release

Montreal, October 30, 2020 – The Quartier des Spectacles Partnership is pleased to announce the appointment of two department directors who recently joined the organization: Maripierre D’Amour as Director of Communications, Marketing and Public Affairs, and Marc Randoll as Director of Logistics, Production and Technology.

Maripierre D’Amour has extensive communications experience in the cultural sector. From 2012 until recently she was the Director of Communications, Marketing and Brand Image at Multicolore, the organization behind Piknic Électronik, Igloofest and the MEG Festival. Previously she worked in film more than 10 years, as communications director for several key organizations (Festival du Nouveau Cinéma, Cinémathèque québécoise, Les Rendez-vous Québec Cinéma).

In the same department, Marie Lamoureux’s role has evolved to become that of Senior Advisor – Strategic Communications, Partners and Media. In her new role, Ms. Lamoureux will focus on public relations and mobilizing the Partnership’s members. The new role stems from collaborations between the Partnership and its members in response to the pandemic; these initiatives are aimed at providing more substantial support to all of the Quartier’s stakeholders.

Marc Randoll has more than 20 years of experience in project management and international development, including six years as the Partnership’s Assistant Director of Operations and Production, from 2010 to 2014. His accomplishments include organizing the Arcade Fire concert in Place des Festivals and establishing policies and procedures for festivals and other events held in the Quartier’s public spaces. He was Executive Director of Montréal en Histoires and a project manager in Paris and Beijing for artist Michel Lemieux. Mr. Randoll also owns a digital project management company that works on numerous projects in China.

“I am thrilled to welcome these two key people to our organization. Marc and Maripierre have solid experience in the cultural sector, and both are natural leaders who have, throughout their careers, made their mark in their respective areas of expertise. I have no doubt that they will inspire our team to meet the challenges facing the Partnership, allowing it to successfully pursue its mission in the Quartier des Spectacles,” said Éric Lefebvre, Executive Director of the Quartier des Spectacles Partnership.
