Press release | For immediate release

Montreal, March 13, 2020 - The Quartier des Spectacles Partnership is closely and continuously monitoring the evolving situation surrounding the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.

As you know, indoor events and gatherings of more than 250 people have been suspended at the request of the government of Quebec. All other events, both indoor and outdoor, will continue for the time being.

This exceptional global situation is of particular concern to Quebec’s cultural industry, which will be significantly impacted.

The Quartier des Spectacles Partnership extends its solidarity and support to each of its members and partners, and to the Quartier’s performance venues, events and festivals. The Partnership will closely monitor the direct and indirect economic impacts of the COVID-19 crisis on venue operators in the Quartier and other stakeholders in the cultural industry.
