VOX - Centre de l'image

As a center for contemporary image-making, VOX’s mandate is to produce large-scale exhibitions on specific issues, with a view to collectively engaging in the dissemination of new knowledge about image-making and exhibition practices. VOX is the owner of a large space in the 2-22 building, and sees itself as a venue for experimentation, research and presentation, capable of evolving just like a historic institution in the making. Its programming is focused on research and experimentation that challenge the paradigms underpinning image-making practices. It features photographic, videographic, multimedia and filmed works, as well as documents, texts, and even contributions from other disciplines. The center has become a reference point in the field of contemporary image-making, pushing back the disciplinary boundaries of art and opening up new perspectives for research and creation.
