RIDM Montréal International Documentary Festival - 2024 Edition

The Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM) is one of North America’s leading documentary film festivals. Each year, the RIDM presents around a hundred Canadian and international documentaries. Its industry event, Forum RIDM, is Québec’s only documentary forum. The RIDM seeks foremost to promote and reflect on the most stimulating and diverse visions of documentary cinema. From work dealing with hot-button issues to daring creations that renew the language of cinema, the RIDM’s selections are aimed at an annual renewal of our relationship with the world and with the documentary as an art form. From November 20 to December 1, 2024, no fewer than 146 documentary films from diverse horizons and a host of activities will be on offer with the complete program of films that will make up the 27th edition of the RIDM. In addition to six exciting competitions, there will be World, Canadian and Quebec premieres, discussions with filmmakers, great festive moments and much more.
