Estival du nouveau cinéma

The 4th edition of the Estival du nouveau cinéma will take place from August 29 to September 1 at the Esplanade Tranquille in the Quartier des spectacles. Starting at 6 p.m. each evening, several hundred deckchairs will await summer visitors for four evenings of free screenings featuring homegrown films, international blockbusters and cult favourites. These films, shown in ultra-high definition on Montreal's largest outdoor projection screen of the summer, will be accompanied by surprise entertainment: DJ sets, musical and dance performances, meetings with artists, tastings, catering and bar services.
