Haiti on Fire
The best of Haitian culture in Montreal. Created by the Fabienne Colas Foundation in 2007, Haiti en Folie Festival in Montreal is presented in collaboration with Unipharm Gaby Jeanty. It is now the largest multidisciplinary festival, outside of Haiti, entirely dedicated to Haitian culture. An important event, colorful with Creole flavors, which attracts several thousand visitors and tourists every year. Haiti on Fire Festival, the best of Haitian culture in a week in Montreal, is intended to showcase Haiti in all its diversity, its beauty and its cultural richness. There's something for everyone: Music, Cinema, Theatre, Dance, Food, Literature, Conferences, Stories, Crafts, Painting ... This is the only event in Quebec that mixes all cultural types of Haiti. In addition to showcasing artists from Haiti, Haiti en Folie promotes interculturalism by also inviting artists from other communities. Its goal is wants to attract an audience from all over, from various origins, in order to remain an opportunity for new discoveries, entertainment, interculturalism and entertainment.
