Art Souterrain | Environnement Entends-tu?

Information on the activity

March 16, 2024 to April 7, 2024

"Environnement Entends-tu?" will address the urgent issue of the environment and climate change, an irreversible situation that will lead the public to reflect on the future and rethink its relationship with the environment. To mark the occasion, the festival will be looking at how artists position themselves within their environment, and will be showcasing over forty local and international artists whose work is rooted in a social and environmental perspective. Sonia Robertson and Heather Davis, the festival’s two co-curators, are combining their views to propose alternatives to the current climate crisis, through a variety of media and artistic practices that invite us to reflect on the links between climate justice and social inequality, to consider the impact of our consumption habits, and to open up to indigenous perspectives on the environment and our sensitive relationship with living things. A committed 16th edition for the Festival Art Souterrain. The Festival returns from March 16 to April 7, 2024!
