Francophone Films Festival CINEMANIA

Founded in 1995, CINEMANIA is the only event of its kind in North America dedicated to French-language cinema. Each year, CINEMANIA presents close to 100 films from the most important international film festivals (Cannes, TIFF, Berlinale), screened in their original version with English subtitles. It is also dozens of prestigious international guests from the French-speaking film community as well as original audio-visual installations and events scattered throughout downtown. CINEMANIA is definitely a must-attend event in the fall in Montréal for film buffs and lovers of francophone culture. The event brings together close to 30,000 spectators each year.
