NOTICE TO QUARTIER DES SPECTACLES RESIDENTS, WORKERS AND VISITORS : SAINTE-CATHERINE ST. WEST TO BE MAINTAINED AS A PEDESTRIAN THOROUGHFARE

Until October 11, 2020 Sainte-Catherine St. West

The section of Sainte-Catherine St. West between De Bleury St. and Saint-Laurent Boulevard will be maintained as a pedestrian thoroughfare until October 11, 2020. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the last few days of summer in the district while adhering to physical distancing rules.

IT’S STILL SUMMER IN THE QUARTIER DES SPECTACLES!

Until September 27, À vous de jouer. Ici, là, partout ! invites you to explore our inviting green spaces to stretch your legs and maybe enjoy a bite on a patio. Keep your eyes open, because you never know when there might be a show on just around the corner! On Sainte-Catherine West, the silly-but-endearing dogs of Dans ma cour...ç’a du chien ! will keep you company on your next break, through October 11. On Promenade des Artistes, the new Un coeur nomade exhibition pays tribute to the 35-year career of Dany Laferrière. Finally, new programming will brighten up your week at Les Jardins Gamelin through September 27!

HORS LES MURS - PLACE DES ARTS

From September 17 to 27, the Place des Arts Esplanade will be home to the fall edition of Hors les murs. Take part in our dance workshops and outdoor creative activities alongside professional artists. And why not stop by on your lunch break and get moving with the Midis dansés events, featuring a series of free jazz workshops?

TEARDOWN

Installations will be removed from Tuesday, October 12, to Wednesday, October 14.

CLOSURES AND TRAFFIC

Jeanne-Mance Street, between Sainte-Catherine West and De Maisonneuve Boulevard West, will be kept open for northbound traffic only.

Jeanne-Mance Street, between Sainte-Catherine West and René-Lévesque Boulevard West, is permanently two-way.

Balmoral Street, as well as Mayor Street between Balmoral and De Bleury, are closed to traffic, except for deliveries.

Sainte-Catherine Street West, between De Bleury and Saint-Laurent Boulevard will be reopened to vehicles at the end of the day on Wednesday, October 14.
