Notice to residents and workers in Quartier des Spectacles: Festival International Nuits d’Afrique

Le Parterre
A meeting place for lovers of music and world cultures, the Village des Nuits d'Afrique offers concerts, participatory workshops, DJSet and activities for the whole family.
In addition to the main stage and the sphere, there is also the Timbuktu Market, bars, restaurants and relaxation areas, where you can enjoy the warm atmosphere of the festival!
STREET CLOSINGS
In order to prepare the site and provide a safe, enjoyable experience for visitors, it will be necessary to prevent vehicles from using certain streets on certain dates :
From Friday, July 12 to Tuesday, July 23:
- Boulevard De Maisonneuve between Clark Street and Saint-Urbain Street ;
- Clark Street between De Montigny Street and Ontario Street
SETUP AND TEARDOWN
- Setup will take place Tuesday, July 11 to Tuesday, July 16 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Teardown will take place Sunday, July 21 to Tuesday, July 21 from midnight to 4 p.m..
SOUND and Lighting CHECKS
In order to present high-quality shows, the Festival International Nuits D'Afrique team will perform sound and lighting checks at various times during the period indicated:
- From July 16 to 19 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- July 20 and 21 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
OUTDOOR SITE SCHEDULE

- July 20 and 21 from 1 p.m. to midgniht

SITE USAGE RULES
To ensure a safe environment for all and to respect obligations related to public gatherings, certain rules must be followed on the outdoor site during event hours.
INFORMATION AND COMMENTS
The event organizers care about the quality of life of local residents and businesspeople, and will strive to minimize any and all potential negative impacts of holding the event in the Quartier.
