Notice to residents and workers in Quartier des Spectacles: Nuit Blanche

As part of the Nuit Blanche 2019, the SDC Quartier Latin andnMontreal Joue team up to offer a fun programming and make the Quartier Latin an unavoidable destination of the Spectacle neighborhood. 6 participatory play areas will be offered to the public in order to take part in the festivities.

STREET CLOSINGS

In order to prepare the site and provide a safe, enjoyable experience for visitors, it will be necessary to prevent vehicles from using certain streets on certain dates.

on Saturday, March 2 at 7 a.m. until Sunday, March 3 at 2 p.m.:

  • St-Denis Street between Ontario Street and De Maisonneuve Blvd.;
  • Emery Street between Sanguinet Street and St-Denis Street.

SETUP AND TEARDOWN

Setup will take place on Saturday, March 2 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Teardown will take place on Sunday, March 3 from 3 a.m. to 2 p.m.

SOUND CHECKS

In order to present high-quality shows, the MONTRÉAL EN LUMIÈRE team will perform sound checks at various times during the period indicated:

  • On March 2 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

OUTDOOR SITE SCHEDULE

Activities will be held from:

  • March 2 from 8 p.m. until March 3 at 2 a.m.

SITE USAGE RULES

To ensure a safe environment for all and to respect obligations related to public gatherings, certain rules must be followed on the outdoor site during event hours.

When you arrive, our hospitality and security staff will ask you to open your bags to check the contents. We are counting on your cooperation to ensure that everyone has a pleasant and safe experience.
