Notice to residents and workers in Quartier des Spectacles

VARIOUS VENUES AND PUBLIC SPACES

Since 1989, Les Francos de Montréal has been the true reflection of a thriving French-speaking music world! A slate of 50 indoor shows and 150 free outdoor concerts testify to the joyous and vibrant qualities of the program.

STREET CLOSINGS

In order to proceed with the development/layout of the site, the smoot running of operations, and provide festival-goers with a festive and safe experience, automobile/vehicular traffic will have to be interrupted on certain streets until Wednesday, June 27, 2018.

SETUP AND TEARDOWN

  • Setup will take place: Until Thursday, June 7, 2018
  • Teardown will take place: From Monday, June 18 to Thursday, June 27, 2018

SOUND CHECKS

In order to present high-quality shows, the team will perform sound checks on:

  • June 4, 5, 6 and 7, lighting and programming tests will be held from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on the place des Festivals stage (at the corner of Jeanne-Mance St. and de Maisonneuve Blvd.).

  • June 5, audio calibration tests will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the place des Festivals stage (at the corner of Jeanne-Mance St. and De Maisonneuve Blvd.).

  • June 6 and 7, audio calibration tests will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on all stages listed below.

OUTDOOR SITE SCHEDULE

From Friday, June 8 to Sunday, June 17, 2018, from 5 p.m. to midnight.

SCHEDULE OF MAIN PERFORMANCES

  • Zone Coors Light: 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
  • Loto Québec stage: 6 p.m.
  • Hydro Québec stage: 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
  • Bell stage: 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
  • SiriusXM stage: 7 p.m. and 10 p.m
  • Desjardins Stage: 8 p.m. and 11 p.m.

SITE USAGE RULES

To ensure a safe environment for all and to respect obligations related to public gatherings, certain rules must be followed on the outdoor site during event hours.

When you arrive, our hospitality and security staff will ask you to open your bags to check the contents.

We are counting on your cooperation to ensure that everyone has a pleasant and safe experience.
