Notice to residents and workers in Quartier des Spectacles: DÉFILÉ DE LA FÊTE NATIONALE

This year the Parade is completely renewed, not with a day Parade, but two evening parades, which will walk on two different courses, which will converge on a great gathering place: place des Festivals. Upon the arrival of the two ambulatory, spectators present, and those who will follow the two parades, will find a huge dance floor with a DJ and traditional music groups, to party until midnight. The site will offer activities for the whole family throughout the evening.

STREET CLOSINGS

In order to proceed with the development/layout of the site, the smoot running of operations, and provide festival-goers with a festive and safe experience, automobile/vehicular traffic will have to be interrupted on certain streets:

On Sunday, June 24, the following streets will be closed:

  • De Maisonneuve Street, between Berri Street and Drummond Street
  • De Montigny Street, between St-Laurent and Clark
  • St-Urbain Street, between Maisonneuve est and Maisonneuve west

SETUP AND TEARDOWN

Setup will take place on :

  • June 24, from 1 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Teardown will take place on :

  • June 25, from 1 a.m. to 8 a.m.

SOUND CHECKS

In order to present high-quality shows, the team will perform sound checks on:

  • June 24 between 1 a.m. and 5 p.m.

OUTDOOR SITE SCHEDULE

Activities will be held on June 24 from 6 p.m. to midnight

Particularities

Note that there will be pyrotechnical effects that will make noise on June 24.

SITE RULES

To ensure a safe environment for all and to respect obligations related to public gatherings, certain rules must be followed on the outdoor site during event hours.

We are counting on your cooperation to ensure that everyone has a pleasant and safe experience.
