Qballs

Qballs, by the Video Phase group, is a playful exploration of the construction of musical language. Physical, cube-shaped objects produce melodic and rhythmic motifs as they move and collide. The compositions can be organized or chaotic, simple or complex, as the user guides and models the interactive environment like an orchestra conductor. The result is a ballet of lights in which the visual elements are a dreamlike representation of the music.

Video Phase

Video Phase is a collaborative project by two musician-creators, Julien-Robert and Julien Compagne. They use digital technology as a new extension of their musical language.
