On Tuesday, March 24, the Quebec Government announced the consortium selected to plan, build, finance, manage and maintain the Adresse symphonique.
The government's choice was Groupe immobilier Ovation, composed of SNC-Lavalin, Diamond and Schmitt Architects, Aedifica, Groupe Aecon, Solotech and Gala Systems.
The hall, which will primarily serve as the home of the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, has a budget envelope of $267 million
allotted by the Government of Quebec. It will be built on the eastern esplanade of Place des Arts, and must be complete by Spring 2011.
