This alterna-hip hop group, consisting of two major figures on the California rap scene, Lateef the Truthspeaker and Lyrics Born, just released the aptly named The Second Album—16 years after their debut, which was embraced as visionary at the time. In between them, the two men attended to their respective occupations, putting out solo albums and engaging in other productive collaborations. It’s a looooongawaited return!
