A faithful Festival regular for 30 years, Jack DeJohnette is one of the greatest drummers in jazz history. Acclaimed in performance with Keith Jarrett and Gary Peacock 4 years ago, he returns to present a very special project: a tribute to the immortal John Coltrane, with the support of two musicians very conversant in the subject: saxophonist Ravi Coltrane, son of the creator of Giant Steps, and bassist Matt Garrison, son of Jimmy, who played with Trane in the ’60s.
