ROY HARGROVE QUINTET

After impressing us with his big band in 2010, Roy Hargrove returns with his “regular” quintet to unveil yet another facet of his repertoire. Of course, whatever the context, format or program, the brilliant trumpeter further burnishes his reputation for creativity and innovation with every one of his (all too rare) Festival visits. It will be a genuine privilege to experience this remarkable jazzman in the intimate confines of the Gesù, where he’ll be playing for the very first time!
