Initially discovered as a double bassist accompanying Pat Metheny, Diana Krall and Herbie Hancock, Christian McBride is now an inspired bandleader who excels in fronting a wide variety of projects. After dazzling us with his quintet Inside Straight in 2011, the Philadelphia native returns this time with a trio and the acoustic jazz album Out Here, consisting of such standards as My Favorite Things and I Have Dreamed.
