THE MUSEUM IS HOSTING THE ELEKTRA AND MUTEK FESTIVALS

The Museum is marking the 15th anniversaries of the ELEKTRA and MUTEK festivals in an exceptional way by furthering the first simultaneous scheduling of these two major digital creation events within its walls.

Over the years, in an effort to showcase and account for emerging practices, the Museum has collaborated with one or the other of these festivals dedicated to electronic music and digital creation, in the presentation of works and performances of major figures on the Montréal, North American and international scenes. For this joint 15th edition, the Musée d’art contemporain is delighted to open its halls to digital creation, with activities and performances of the ELEKTRA and MUTEK festivals and the installations of the International Digital Arts Biennial (BIAN).
