DUCHESS SAYS & CHOCOLAT & COUNTRY & ORGAN MOOD

Information on the activity

November 21, 2015 | 21 H 30

12 am – DUCHESS SAYS
Composed of A-Claude (vox, keytar, guitar), Ismael (keyboard, guitar), Phil (guitar, bass, feedbacks) and Simon Says (lo-fi beats, drums and doubtful noises), Duchess Says is serving us a repertory of "moog rock" songs strong in images and enormously intense live performances! Their musical influences range from no wave, new wave, punk, to cinema and visual arts.

11 pm – CHOCOLAT
In 2006, Jimmy Hunt (then a proverbial punk-troubadour usually found in bars) and Ysael Pepin (bassist for Demon’s Claws) started to jam here and there in one of the rooms of an apartment located above the late Zoobizarre in Montreal.

10:15 pm – COUNTRY
Restauranteur, savant-folk bad boy, Beaver Sheppard, and synth virtuoso, whipping boy, producer, Mister Lavender, David Whitten, form the sleaze-wave duo Country. The sleaze-wave sound has been described as “My Bloody Valentine mixed with Dance Dance Revolution” and prides itself on being 10 years ahead of L.A. at all times

9:30 pm – ORGAN MOOD
Using with analogue synths, overhead projectors and their own homemade instruments, Organ Mood encourage an interactive experience with their audience members by inviting them to manipulate their equipment on stage. Each person has the chance to explore the musical energy of the duo and turn a public show into a personal experience.
