Derme.0, by Claire Assal, Cécile Cattiaux and Sarah Chabrier, students at the UQAM École des arts visuels et médiatiques.
A multiscreen videographic work in which the digital is grafted onto the pictorial to create a plural picture body. In continuity with Peter Campus, the artists revisit the incrustation to invent impossible and phantasmal bodies, in which flesh melts into flesh and skin winds over skin. The Mosaic system becomes a space where physical diversities are interwoven within the pictorial material, causing a new hybrid "body surface" to emerge.
