The videos of ”Every Corner on Kantstraße” accompanied the publication of the first edition of the Berlin cultural magazine Flaneur, devoted to the street Kantstraße in Berlin. A biannual publication, Flaneur was founded in the summer of 2013 and the first two editions were critical successes both in Germany and abroad. Flaneur happily embraces a street’s complexity and its impact on the neighbourhood in which it is situated and more broadly on the city, as well as creating correlations between places, stories, people and objects with no apparent link. The very next issue, its first foreign issue, will be on Montreal’s Bernard Street.

“This city is an accumulation of completely unrelated artifacts. We delve into their beauty and try to reorder them anew. In this land of our time, the logic of the linear is replaced by the logic of fragments, the desire for fragments. The beyond begins here, the absolute deceleration, our own lack of knowing as the only indicator of existence.“ Fabian Saul, Editor-in-chief, Flaneur
