NETWORKING AND SELF-PROMOTION IN THE ARTS

NETWORKING AND SELF-PROMOTION IN THE ARTS

Information on the activity

February 9, 2025 | 14 H

In this 90-minute bilingual workshop offered by St. James United Church and YES Montreal, we will delve deeply into the importance of networking and self-promotion for emerging artists. We will discuss the different types of networks an artist needs to develop to build a sustainable career, exploring both online and in-person connections. Networking in the arts is not just about meeting people, but also about knowing how to create value for others, building strong and collaborative relationships, and integrating into existing artistic communities.

Speaker Caroline Gauthier has been an arts entrepreneurship coach at YES Employment & Entrepreneurship since 2022. At YES, she has developed training on topics such as grant writing, networking, and developing a portfolio and professional presentation.
