A BIRD’S EYE VIEW OF HOT AND COLD SECRETS
From September 16 to 29, 2024.
"A bird’s eye view of hot and cold secrets" invites viewers into works where the small has been dilated, the large has been shrunk, allowing polarities to meet. Inspired by microbial anomalies and black holes, we see Asma Ahsan Khan’s mixed media artworks exploring concepts of gravity, extinction, magnets, entanglements and time.
Over the past five years, Khan has dedicated herself to drawing shapes of the unknown, inviting us to envision landscapes free of time, microbes as unsung heroes, and the gentle embrace of black holes. Each artwork serves as a portal, a system unto itself, encouraging the viewer to explore the space where contrasts converge.
Vernissage on September 22 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
