SALSA DANCING AND MUSIC

One step at a time, let the rhythms of salsa take control!

A Sunday of dancing awaits you in mid-September, when the familiar sounds and rhythms of salsa will sweep across the Place des Arts Esplanade. First, you’ll sway to mixes by DJ Kmilo as you hit the dance floor starting at 3 p.m., before award-winning Montreal group La Tribu Salsa Band takes to the stage to bring you the exciting rhythms of its “salsa brava.”

To keep up the urban fiesta ambience, the TUMBAO MTL DJ collective will be appearing not just once, but twice, taking you on an Afro-Latin-Caribbean musical journey, as they do on a regular basis as part of La Murga at Bar Pamplemousse.

And finally, to top things off, Lengaia Salsa Brava, featuring 12 musicians from all around the world, will be on hand to perform their uniquely colourful and absolutely irresistible music.

A whole day that promises to prolong the wonderful atmosphere of summertime!
