Laura Cadabon is part of the new generation of musicians in Argentina. Born in Buenos Aires, she studied music at the Gilardo Gilardi Music Conservatory. Her passion for tango led her to specialize as a bandoneon performer. Laura has been regularly invited to perform with tango orchestras throughout Argentina and on international tours in the United States and Europe.
In her Montreal premiere, Laura Cadabon will perform in a female quartet. With her bandoneon, she will be accompanied by a pianist, a double bassist and a violinist. A singer and a couple of dancers will complete this show. On the program are works by composers Gardel, Troilo and Piazzola. Female tango will have its place with works by composers Paquita Bernardo and Eladia Blázquez.
